Hi, I'm Sarah aka Bricks'n'Tonic!

A very warm welcome to our store - although we are new to Brick Owl we have been trading for a number of years on other platforms and have decided now that we are established,it is the right time to join the BO community. Normally I run Bricks'n'Tonic by myself but my husband often volunteers when he has some downtime....or a project he wants funding!

Up until the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak in early 2020, I was a Teaching Assistant and due to personal circumstances was forced to shield away with my family.  During this time I found mini projects, one being my daughters Lego collection which had become a mess of pieces. I have always had a love of Lego from a young age and as a child I remember watching and then being taught by my dad how to build the 'Holiday Villa' - a set that I still have today.

After my daughters' Lego collections were completed I set my sights on refurbishing sets which I did for about 6 months before opening my first onliine store on another platform in Easter 2021. 

The beauty of running my own business is that it is relatively mobile. We are a military family and move every few years. With minimal effect to my customers, we have been previously based in North Yorkshire and the Highlands! We are currently located in Buckinghamshire.

Bricks'n'Tonic have just started our third year trading and loving every minute of it!
